A Peer-Reviewed International Journal
Instructions for Authors
Editorial Procedure
Single-Blind Peer Review
The journal follows a single-blind reviewing procedure and publishes special/guest-edited issues. The peer review process for these articles is the same as the journal’s general peer review process.
If a guest editor authors an article in their issue/collection, they will not handle the peer review process.
Editorial Procedure - Additional Information
All submissions undergo an initial completeness check before being assigned to an Editor for suitability assessment. If an Editor is an author or has a competing interest, another Editorial Board member will oversee the review. Editors consider peer-reviewed reports but are not bound by them. A single concern from a reviewer or the Editor may lead to rejection.
Time to First Decision
The journal aims for a quick initial decision. Factors affecting timing include article length, reviewer availability, and complexity of review. Clear language and well-structured content help expedite the process.
Special issues may have different schedules—please check the Call for Papers.
Time to Publication
Accepted articles proceed immediately to production. If proofs are returned promptly, the article should be published online within 3-5 weeks.
Article DOI
Once proofed, articles are published online and assigned a DOI for citation. No further changes can be made after online publication.
Article Charges
The journal requires a publication fee for accepted manuscripts. The journal will publish the research works as Open Access, which involves an Article Processing Fee.
Benefits of Open Access
- Wider Reach: Immediate global access enhances researcher engagement.
- Greater Visibility: Open Access articles receive four times more views and 1.7 times more citations.
Manuscript Submission
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work has not been previously published, is not under review elsewhere, and has received approval from all co-authors (if applicable) and the relevant authorities at the institution where the research was conducted. The publisher bears no legal responsibility for any compensation claims that may arise.
Permissions
Authors must secure permission for any figures, tables, or text that have been previously published. If they intend to use such content in their manuscript, they must obtain authorization from the copyright holder(s) for both print and online formats and provide proof of permission upon submission. Any material submitted without proper documentation will be considered the original work of the authors.
Online Submission
Submit manuscripts via the “Submit manuscript” link, following on-screen instructions.
Source Files
All relevant editable source files (e.g., .docx, LaTeX) must be provided at submission and revision.
Title Page
Ensure the title page includes:
- Concise, informative title
- Author name(s) and affiliation(s)
- Corresponding author’s active email
- 16-digit ORCID (if available)

Competing Interests
